info: Venue & Accessibility

Event Overview:

Solent Fetish Meets (SFM) runs at Bobby’s Lounge, 18 Marmion Road, Southsea, Portsmouth, PO5 2BA. Events run from 8:00pm to 11:00pm, with no last entry time, although the bar closes at 11:00pm. SFM is a monthly meet, normally on the first Friday of the month unless stated otherwise. For the most up-to-date dates and any changes, please check our DATES page or TICKETS page.

Tickets & Entry:

We prefer that visitors purchase tickets online in advance via TicketSource, as this helps us manage numbers and keep the night running smoothly. However, you can still pay when you arrive on the night, subject to capacity.

To ensure a safe environment, we operate a Challenge 25 policy. If you are lucky enough to look under 25, please be prepared to show a physical photo ID or the Yoti digital ID app upon entry. This helps us keep everyone safe and comply with licensing rules.

Travel & Parking:

Bobby’s Lounge is located in Southsea, close to a range of public transport options. The nearest train stations are Portsmouth Harbour and Portsmouth & Southsea. From there, you can reach the venue by taxi or local bus.

Taxis are available on Palmerston Road and Osborne Road, both a short walk from the venue. Local buses stop nearby at St Jude’s Church and the Southsea shops, making it easy to reach us from across the city.

If you are driving, visitors can find convenient parking at the nearby Waitrose car park. Please check local signage for any time limits or charges that may apply.

Venue Accessibility:

Our venue provides step-free access throughout the main area, making it easier for guests with mobility needs to enter and move around the space. There may be some tighter areas at busy times, so if you need extra support or space, please let a member of the team know.

Toilets:

We offer a single-occupancy, gender-neutral toilet that is partly accessible. Please be aware that this facility is quite small with limited turning circles and some tight spaces, so it may not be fully suitable for all wheelchair users. If you have specific questions about whether the facilities will work for you, we encourage you to contact us in advance so we can give you as much detail as possible.

Additional Information:

Detailed dress code and welfare information can be found on their respective pages on this site. These pages explain what to expect, how we look after our community, and how we keep SFM a safe and respectful space for everyone.

If you have any questions, particularly about accessibility needs or anything that would help you feel more comfortable attending, you are very welcome to contact us at solentfetisshmeets@gmail.com. We will always do our best to support you and make your visit to Solent Fetish Meets as welcoming and accessible as we can.
